I'm not a fan of clickbait, and black-hat techniques are always going to come back and bite you in the end. But whatever your subject, your writing has to speak to your audience.

If you're writing for the Sunday Times, your grammar and sentence structure has to match the editorial standards of the Sunday Times. But if you're blogging on Medium about, idk, crypto, like you're writing for the Sunday Times, don't be surprised if the bros don't read it.

It's not about NOBodY UsEs pROpeR pUNCaTUatIOn ANyMORE, it's about knowing when to bend the rules. That's what good writing is all about.
