I’m not sure how many of you will remember these, but if you grew up in the UK before 2000 then the nostalgia is about to hit. This post is all about things that we remember and loved as children in the UK. I hope this brings back some memories for most people — I know it does for me!

Toilet Paper Dolls

We grew up in the good old days when the spare roll of toilet paper was kept hidden from sight, and what better way to hide it than up the skirt of a sawn-off Barbie doll? Your nan had them. She might even have made one. Everyone crocheted back then.

Kellogg’s Cereal Bowls

These days they’re “vintage” — back in the day they were too small for a decent serving. Your mum probably used them as the cat’s water bowl instead. Even though they were rarely used for their intended purpose, there’s probably still a couple of them in the back of your kitchen cupboard.
